Battery preheating using OBDEleven?

  • In the latest version OBDEleven has manual preheating but for it to work you have to have the hood open, so my question is can you drive with the hood open?

I will try it next time I need to go to a fast charger, but until then?

  • if you like you hood undamaged i think it is not the best idea to drive with the open hood ;)

At least maybe with low speed it will work but not at higher speed - it would be to dangerous for me that the hood releases while driving and hitting back to the front screen.

are you trolling? read the obd instructions more carefully... you open the hood during the programming of the feature, not while running the car... :D

So, you are telling me that I should stand by the charger for 30 minutes before I can hook up the charger? I wonder how is the real troll here

Solution: buy another electric car. Seriously.

If you want to charge quickly in winter, you won't be happy with the first series Born, ID or Enyaq.

I'm sorry to have to say this so bluntly.

The real troll is Volkswagen, who promised a lot in terms of software but never delivered.
